Why is grass green

Today I have finshed my writing.
here it is.

WHY IS GRASSGREEN?

LIKE MANY PLANTS you know that it is green but did you know

Why grass is green?

The reason grass and many other plants are green is because they contain an important chemical called chlorophyll.

We see because of light bouncing off things and getting into our eyes, the colour that bounces off is what it looks like. mostly  the sun reflects green light, which accounts for your lawn's color.

So if something came along that was more efficient it would have had a good chance of taking over because it would have had more energy and could grow faster. And why does the grass need to be green? Because the plant absorbs energy that isn’t green, and the green bit is the stuff that’s left!

OVER ALL I THINK THAT THE GREEN GRASS IS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER COLOR FOR IT,SO I THINK THAT GREEN IS THE BEST FOR YOUR LAWN
