descirbing the game fortnite

Today in the group we had to describe a game we liked the most and I piked fortnite here is what I have done.

  •  Dealt character and level up to get a better player
  • Every time you level up you vs more sweaty people (better people)
  • Every 10- 20 levels when you have the battle pass you get a skin
  • If you play good and complete missions and you get to tear 100 you get a cool skins
  • You wing you get better
  • You can play on your own solo
  • Duos sads team rumble battle lab and creative and some time there a limited time games
  • Two things I like about the game-I like how we can do our own things than someone telling us what to do, same matches you can get in with some bots and they are easy but versing other people is sometimes hard
  • Two things I do not like about the game-people being mean and sweet on me hardcore taking out guns I like and putting bad guns back in
  • I like the game 2k19 so this should be a great game
  • I like the sound of fitting
  • Don't like lag in-game
  • Or getting beaten

Creative Writing Matrix

The last lesson and this lesson I have been working on a Creative Writing Matrix.
The one I piked to do was the forgotten toy was I watched a video and wrote we story here is my story.

Self Directed Learner

Assessing Against the Self Directed Learner Matrix

Make a copy of this slide.  Highlight in green what you feel you already do well. Highlight in yellow the areas you need to work on. Screenshot your slide and post your completed matrix to your blog. Write three goals based on the area/s you are working to improve.

As a Self Directed Learner I
  • Have a positive attitude to all parts of learning including setbacks.
  • Know what skills I need to develop so I can learn.
  • Can tell others the ways how I like to learn and what suits me best.
  • Know what work I need to complete and set goals based on this.
  • Manage my learning time so I complete all tasks.
  • Catch up on work I miss or fall behind on in my own time.
  • Ask for feedback when I am unsure.
  • I reflect on my learning by asking:
  • How do I know what I’ve learned?
  • Can I explain what I’ve learnt to someone else?
  • Can I apply what I’ve learned when creating my work?

Make up a timeline to make sure to get my work done.
Aet the other goal to get it done in the period.
If not done or behind do it home.
Make sure I have the equipment to do it.
Listen when the teachers are talking and saying what we have to do.
Make sure I set goals or I will not complete it

Critical literacy#4

CL Group Work Sheet

  • What am I learning? How two pick and answer questions to videos and text we look or listen to
  • How does this show my learning? That we can pick and answer questions
  • What am I wondering? that next time it would be a little easier.

Texts(s):   Big Girls Cry - Sia) click the link to watch the video we watched
Topic: First video clip (Big Girls Cry - Sia)
How did your group focus on the analysis? (Which aspect did you select to critically examine?)
  • Inclusion
  • Exclusion
  • Representation
  • Multiple readings
Which critical literacy questions did your group select to analyse the text(s)?
1. What is this text about? How do we know?
In the beginning, it is about an abusive relationship(and an ignorant father) that eventually ends up making the mother look back in the past and change that future so the child couldn't experience the same thing she did as a child.
11. How are adults constructed in this text?
The adults are shown to have many arguments in the beginning but then change to be responsible and kind to their child.
12. Why has the composer of this text written the characters in a particular way?
To show that there are relationships that aren't too healthy and that some relationships can be abusive but they can make amends and have a change of heart.
This song is about how people always
Why did your group select those questions?
We picked these questions because they fit with the video and the focus of representation of the text.

We picked those around the link to a reference all question in a question bank

What did your group conclude from the critical analysis? (So what?)

We found out that some relationships in music videos parallel with the real world as in that it just might just not work out and that when you’re older.
