Sweat shirting

So far in Soft Material I have drawn & cut out my stencil for my jumper. 

It was hard to draw the stencil but I had help and I got through it.

My next steps are to pin it to my chosen fabric then cut it out.

What is Sweatshirting 

The thing that we are doing is sweatshirts. Sweatshirts are made or designed to absorb sweat, so they keep you warm while cooling you down slowly. unless it’s a sweatshirt that is pretty much good to go!

It is not necessary to neaten off the cut edges because they are knitted fabrics and subsequently this particular thing has happened: upwards. however, we have to do zig zag.

This material is washable

Quick to dry

This is made from a fine gauge yarn, jersey from cotton but can also be made from synthetic fibers(The compounds that are used to make these fibers come from raw materials such as petroleum-based chemicals or petrochemicals ).

 In textiles we have been making a mask with the virus so we can stay safe here is a pitcher of my mask.

It is just a great fit for me and I like the colours and the fit so I am going to wear it out and about stay safe

Beeswax wraps

In texies we maed beeswax wraps  Here is a fuew photows og what we had to do.

I hope one day you can make thes bees wax raps .
and if you are woundering ou can ues them like cladrap but you can not put meat in it it will make the meat go off so do not do that.

Coffe Candles

today in softmeterryals we have bean starting to make Reyused things to make coffe candles

Here is what you need 

Materials:
3 Tablespoons of rice.
3 Tablespoons of coffee beans.
Tealight candle
Small glass jar.
Food coloring ( optional )
